Affirmative Action Plans and Consulting Services

Any employer who has a federal contract in totaling $50,000 or more and has 50 or more employees is subjected to the federal government's Affirmative Action Program under Executive Order 11246.

This select group of employers are obligated to prepare and maintain three written Affirmative Action Plans; jointly called an Affirmative Action Program or AAP. The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs OFCCP is the federal agency having jurisdiction and enforcement authority for the Affirmative Action section of federal regulations.

Federal contractors’ Affirmative Action plans must be reviewed and updated on a yearly basis. The enforcement agencies for AAP compliance can visit your company for a pre-contract review, employee discrimination complaint, desk audit, or comprehensive on-site review.

Affirmative Action Plans -- AAP Development

EEO Logic provides a response that best represents the federal contractor. We can ensure the most reasonable reply to U.S. Department of Labor, OFCCP compliance review request. Our approach to affirmative action planning is to customize the process and product to suit the needs of the client. Typically we develop AAPs using Microsoft Access®. We use the database, query and report writing capabilities of these programs to conduct the analyses needed for the specific plans of the client.

Although we could prepare your Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) for each establishment individually, we recommend a unified approach under which all AAPs are developed from a single database that we would organize from a series of downloads from your database. This approach would allow for standardizing as many elements of the AAPs as possible, organizing the AAPs in a manner that most effectively corresponds to the way your company is organized and operates, and producing reports for all the AAPs simultaneously.

Under the unified approach, databases, queries, macros, reports, etc. are established under a set of specifications that take into account the Affirmative Action Plan variables that affect each establishment (such as defining labor and recruitment areas, feeder groups, etc.). All of the data is loaded and "cleaned" to ensure accurate results, and the entire processing of the workforce and utilization analyses takes place at once.

EEO Logic can provide these services at a very reasonable and competitive price because of the unique way we develop the AAPs. We can provide full service (statistical reports, narratives and compensation analyses) for as little as $2,000 per location for companies with three or more locations. We can also run all of the statistical portions of the AAP listed below for as little as $1,500 per location.
